Who Am I?

I am a computer consultant, specializing in project management, executive management, operations management and software development.  Very shortly, you'll be able to download programs that I've written, and judge for yourself - lots of folks put lots of stuff on their resume, but how many can actually deliver? (If you'd like to view a copy of my resume in HTML format, click here.)

I hate to toot my own horn, but I'm an accomplished manager and director - I've been responsible for revenue streams totaling $5-6 million a month, and had 12 direct reports in a high-tech company whose atmosphere was, to say the least, hectic!

I've also been a primary Linux developer since October, 1991.  While not managing, I write software in Visual Basic, C, and develop applications software and programming tools for the MySQL database under Linux.  My main focus is electronic notification systems.

What I'm Working On At The Moment...I am unavailable.

I am currently working on a project to port Linux 2.2 to a proprietary PPC platform.  This project involves a lot of kernel-level work, as well as driver development and porting.  This project is expected to continue until the end of 2000.  I'm also working on several personal projects, including work with adaptive optics, differential GPS, and sat trackers.
